If someone has your visible phone number or email saved in their contacts and you join Microsoft Teams (free), they'll receive a notification that you're on Teams. If you communicate with users not on Teams like sending chat invitations, your profile picture may be visible. If you sign in with a different alias from the same Microsoft account, the information (phone number and/or email) will be added to your Microsoft Teams (free) profile. On reinstall, users need to onboard to Microsoft Teams (free) again. If you hide your email address from your profile, you will stop receiving meeting invites over email. You can always change this through the privacy setting. By default, your phone number will not be visible to other people in Teams. For nonminors, the email address and profile picture used during setup will be visible on your profile.
